I think its best to keep it frozen until you are ready to use it. It can stay in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or so after it has been opened, but will keep in the freezer much longer.

Freezer! Not only can you defrost in about 10 min to use as a topping, but you can eat it frozen and it taste like vanilla ice cream (but even better, because it's low calorie!)

On regular times we always put it in the fridge. that way it will be handy when we need it. But on holidays like thanksgiving and christmas we put them in the freezer because we buy so many of them and there isn't room in the fridge. after all, we can just defrost them.

fridge

If you store it in the freezer, you have to defrost it for a bit before you use it. But also if you store it in the freezer it'll last longer.

Fridge, Why would you freeze it, it would just create a hassle in which you would have to unthaw it. Its perfectly fine in the fridge. In fact, now that you mention it I might go have some now:)
