If you go to http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a complete section on what you can and cannot take on board the aircraft. They keep their website pretty updated because things are changing constantly.
Have a great trip!

I would put it in checked luggage..... My understanding is that you can't take spray bottles of perfume in a carry-on. You can take ordinary non-spray bottles of liquid if they're under 3 ounces (the bottle size) and if you put all your containers of liquids, gels etc. into a quart-size ziploc bag. (mini shampoo, mini toothpaste, bottle of foundation, tube of lipstick etc....if your perfume bottle is non-spray and under 3 oz. it could go in there)

Not yet. Any liquids or gels must be in checked baggage. Put it this way, they've just ok'd lipstick and only in a solid form. You can even take mascara on

You can take it as long as it is less than four ounces. It also must be placed along with any other liquids, gels, and lotions in a 1 quart plastic zip lock bag.

If you cant bring it on carry on, wrap it in a lot of newspaper or tissue paper and surround it with clothes, so the clothes will take the impact, not the fragile glass::
