Let's face it, more people in the military claim to be republican, so the only fair thing to do...to get equality, is to draft democrats....
Since it is Rangle's idea, and the democrats are the ones who would be inacting the draft. . .it seems the only way to address the issue.

That's right, you elected them, now they are going to send your b@$$s off to war . . . by draft. Your sons, grandsons, husbands... all because you voted for them. Way to go democrats.
You go first. That's all I say. You go first.
Remember...no more deferment for being at university. . .bye-bye.;-)

1. "It's Me" ...don't forget..dont' ask, don't tell, sweety. Saddam needed to be taken down. It was a human rights issue.
2. Yes, I am irritated by the democrat win. . .but feel better now that the democrats are going to put their idiotic public policy to work and bite the hands that fed them. . .if it passes.
I would worry more about the state of the military, but democrats will run, anyway, and won't every make it to basic.

Keh... I am too old for the war. I have a three brothers, all who served in the military. One who won a Bronze Star in Iraq. He has two sons in the Army. One a recent grad from West Point and another just starting.
My brother who won the Bronze Star in Iraq thinks it is a just war and is proud of his service. He is fully aware of the brutality of Saddam because he helped to dig up mass graves while he was there. He is against our cutting and running.
I am not the one trying to start the draft. That would be Charlie Rangle the DEMOCRAT.

Claddaghmamma, if you support this war, why aren't YOU wearing a uniform and why aren't you and your brothers or sisters or children in Iraq or Afghanistan? It's so easy to support a war when it ain't your butt being shot at in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Why won't you try listening to the opposition? You MIGHT learn something... don't close your ears and your common sense off to facts, try listening.
This war ain't about bring about democracy to other people... how can it be when OUR OWN democracy is being imperiled by the likes of the so-called Patriot Act that gives this country the same rights to do as our enemies have done in the past. Our rights, freedoms and liberties are in being chipped away when anyone can capriciously spy on you and me, have governments agents knock on your door because you read a couple of books that they deemed "unpatriotic", stop you arbitrarily to search you and your property as they do in Third World Countries and Communist countries, where they can cease you in secret and whisk you away to a clandestine prison, deny you the right of counsel and torture you until you admit whatever they want you to... they can spy on you, listen to your telephone conversations without a court order (which would ensure they do not abuse their powers and do the same to their political adversaries)... This is not what this country was founded for nor the principles for which it was founded! Even our freedom of speech and expression is under jeopardy of being chipped away... is THIS what you voted for?
Forget the slogans and the propaganda that demagogues would have you repeating... listen, question and think for yourself! Don't become one of the sheep!
This war is more about the Vice President Cheney's cronies getting contracts without even bidding... getting to get rich on oil deals (and maintaining the prices artificially high to enrich themselves for as long as they can stretch it), by profiteering through the service contracts (charging the government $45 for a 6-pack of Pepsi... and the Republicans REFUSE to oversee or scrutinize or question what they're being charged!!!).
Listen to both sides of the argument with an open mind. Don't be a pawn for any demagogue, Republican or Democrat!

So the ones' who started the war (repubs) would be excempt from fighting in a war that was started on false pretenses...Hmmmm, how about if we put party affilliations aside and work to make this country safer and better by working together instead of through division?
