This is what i think. You need to be allowed freedom in a controlled environment. The world is a dangerous place. We all need to experience both success and failure to mature. The parents role is to shelter the child from unneccessary pain in the failure. It may seem like you are not being listened to, or trusted, but your parents really do have your best interest at heart.

Even when you are a teen you ARE a kid. Teens are NOT adults and the reason adults "boss" you around is because as adults WE are responsible for you KIDS. IF you were mature enough to NOT be called a kid you wouldn't whine about being called one and wouldn't whine about grown ups "bossing" you around. You want freedom, GREAT move out of your parents home, Get a job that will pay your rent, and ALL of the bills that come with having your own place, The cable, the heat, the air conditioning, the water, the garbage, the sewer. Pay your own doctor bills, pay for your own health insurance as well as your own car and car insurance. Pay for your own groceries and Internet connection. Pay for your own clothes and the gas that goes into your car. Now THAT'S freedom (you might also want to learn how to spell properly because no employer will hire you with the garbage you posted on a resume or application, it would simply be placed into the shredder)

No, Because I know how I was when I was a teen and I thought the same exact way as you did. Now Im 30 and have my own children and I know exactly why my parents did the things they did. And I know now that half the stuff I did do when I was a teenager, was sooooo stupid. Adults know what they are talking about most of the time even though you dont think they do.

u don't need freedom u need to mature and let them be the parents.. cause if they let u run around all wild and loose the cops will be knocking down there door and they'll get fined or jail time because u want to act like u pay rent and work all day . and your just a kid .. enjoy your teen hood and stop trying to be 21 .. let them parent u and then at 18 go to college and run amuck all u want . parents put restrictions on us so that law enforcement won't go upside our heads with there baton's and etc. That is how it is til your 18 and mature enough to take responsibility for your own self and just cause u become and adult they don't stop caring about you.. iam glad my mom put restrictions on me because i could be like all my former classmates That got pregnant, hooked on drug, and in prison .. Most of them have kids that are going to be 20 and they got pregnant in the 8th grade back in 1988-1989 etc. So because of there choices to have freedom most of them live under the poverty level and make less money etc. So grow up take the advice of parents they don't want u to grow up to fast and then regret it when u get to their age .. An remember what u do to your parents comes back on you in tenfolds when u have kids

feels that way, huh? but doesn't it also feel like they love you and are scared for you to make the same mistakes they made? see, they figure " we already made those mistakes and learnt from them so now we can save our daughter from having to learn it the hard way." if you feel they don't listen at all, tell them. calmly! screaming never seems very grown up. get them to listen but remeber you'll have to listen, too. if you want more freedom you need to let them know that you can make the right decisions, and don't obuse the freedom you have. good luck!

I agree some grown ups don't listen they're too busy talking.

When you're a minor and the grown up is responsible for you they are the boss.

You'll get more freedom than you ever wanted soon enough believe me.

Why should a grownup listen to someone too lazy to spell or use punctuation?
