I will suggest you draft up a "contract" or some sort of agreement between him and you that he will not ever disrupt your life with the baby and attempt to acknowledge the baby when he/she is born. That shall include taking you to court and force you to take a DNA test. Make it a legal document since he does not want the baby now. However, there may be unspoken reasons behind his abrupt move which you should attempt to find out from him. Document every effort you take to initiate a talk with him and the expenses you paid for during pregnancy and when the baby is born. Be protected.

he can go to the family law center in your city and get a court order injunction to make her do the test and if she refuses she can get jail time.

my brother in law finally did get his ex girlfriend to do the test of course the court go involved.. It comes to find out the Lil guy was never his and he had raise him since he was a newborn .. now the young man is 13 and he still is active father figure to him even though he not his.. Of course my brother in law was devastated but he became attached to child that wasn't his.. Now he plays a big role in the young mans life since his mother died back in 2004 from cancer..So tell him to go through the courts and if he is attached to the child he can either stay in the child's life or walk away ..

I know in my situation, i am suing my ex for custody and child support after he tried to scare me into giving him our baby so he wouldnt' have to pay child support. now he's saying the baby isn't his and wanted a paternity test. Weell, he has to pay for it to get it done and hasn't forked over the money yet. maybe he should talk to a lawyer or file for full custody. depending on what state he lives in,,,in tx you have 2 years to contest a paternity if you sign the birth certificate...

He can get a court order that will require her to get the test done in a certain amount of time. If she doesn't get the test done she will be in contempt of court , have to pay a fine, do jail time or both. Tell your "friend" to seek legal counsel.

Yes. More especially if they are having to pay child support. However, he is required to pay for the testing if it comes back that the child is his, if its not the mother has to pay.
