Is not passover also the first day of unleavened bread?

I suggest getting some matza (sp) for the Seder.

Also thing of something that you would like to be lead out of, free of, and surrender that to God. He will help you work on that.

The other Jay pretty much covered the rest.
Jesus (Y'shua) is the reason for the passover.

Passover is the day before Easter. The Passover Seder is served on Friday evening after sunset.
Read Exodus to learn why Passover is celebrated, and what to be thankful for. It is a celebration of what God did for His chosen people when they came out of Egypt.

Passover is celebrated in the spring, on Good Friday, just before Easter. Passover is celebrated to commemorate the Exodus from Egypt by the children of Israel. On the Passover, all the first born of Egypt were slain by the Angel of Death. However, the first born of Israel were saved (passed over) because the Israelites had painted the lintle of their doorways with the blood of lamb. This blood represented Jesus' blood who was slain for our sins. In this way, we who are deserving of death because of our sins, are passed over because Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed in our place.

The Israeli nation lost sight of this meaning of the festival, and now celebrate it exclusively to commemorate the Exodus from Egypt. Those who look past the memorial to the deeper meaning of Passover recognize the significance of the cross and what it means to each of us.
