Yep. But I say absolute power equals absolute responsibility.
In reality, I'm doing God a big favor by not believing, because if I believed, I'd have to hold Him responsible for things like AIDS and the Asian tsunami.

There is a two-fold will to God.
One is His *perfect* will, which is the good that He wills. The other is His *permissive* will, which is the evil that He permits, given that there is sin.
God always forbids sin, but created beings, having free will, can choose against goodness (even though they are supposed to choose for goodness).
However, when sin is committed, God permits the evil to happen, and with this, brings a greater good out of it in the end.
In this way, God triumphs over evil and shows His ascendancy over it, bringing greater happiness to His followers in the end who put up with evil in patience and grow in virtue because of dealing with it.

why do they say that God loves all his children but condems Homosexuals and those who don't follow Jesus and others? It's alright for children of other religions -who don't follow jesus- to go to heaven. It's alright for all those soldiers dieing for the US to go to heaven no matter their religion but the "enemy" soldiers go to hell. Remember: history is written by the victors. So who is "good" and "bad" in the war hasn't been decided and won't until someone "wins" thus I put quotations around enemy.

To believe that would be destructive to their religion, because it would make God exactly like us.

It's interesting how you have crutches on your avatar. Perhaps you are using christianity as a crutch for you own unbeliefs.
