If you're talking about the average Muslim and the average Christian, the average Muslim seems more obeying than the average Christian which could be translated to more extreme in fulfilling his religion orders. However, comparing an extremely religious Christian to an extremely religious Muslim, the extremely religious Christian is more extreme.

ISLAM!!! Christianity does not encourage followers to kill all the 'Infidels'...Doesn't preach to parishioners to hate all that is not Christian...Christianity respects other Religions and has no inclination to blow people up!

Islam extremists are on the increase and feel that more Muslims are becoming sucked in to the teachings of the Quaran.....

When was the last time we saw a Christian suicide bomber take hundreds of lives?????

Religion is the cause of most of histories atrocities, but would rather spend time in the company of Christians than Muslims....as, for a majority of them, their Religion never enters into the conversation:o]

If you mean extreme like ppl talking about it.... it is totally gonna b Christianity becuase almost everything in the news are somthing about Christianity. There are a lot more movies about Christianity than Islam. "The Passion of Christ", "The Omen" <-- but in the omen it's not all true you got to read the Bible to know what is real and what is fake! =)

Currently that would be Islam, but be assured that the title of most extreme can change hands at any time, as history has shown over and over again.

Christianity had its Dark Age with crusades and inquisitions, and now Islam is doing the same. That doesn't mean I trust either one to permanently get over its ridiculous arrogance and love of violence. The very nature of religion is to be intolerant of other views, and since absolute certainty of belief can't stand up to rational criticism the only way they have of defending their metaphysical delusions is through violence.

Now watch the hate mail pour in!

No comparison. Muhammed preached Jihad, hate and subjugation of non Muslims (infidels) Jesus preached peace and love. Also, Hitler and Stalin were not Christians. Almost all of the wars in the world today are islamic based. The Crusades were a result of Islam takeover and pushed Muslims back to the East. If not for the Crusades, the Islamists would have taken Europe and every woman would be wearing a Burka today. Women and gays are oppressed under Islam. Gays are actually killed.

It depends.... The only reason Muslims are seen as extreme right now because a bunch of idiotic jihadists (who represent the minority of the Islamic faith) decide to ram into some really tall buildings and piss off one of the most powerful nations in the world.... Christians have done worse, believe me. If you don't believe me, look at Hitler and Stalin.

Extreme what? You can't just be extreme, you have to be extreme *something*. So do you mean having an extreme belief in Allah? An extreme sense of forgiveness? An extreme commitment to G*d? Extreme growth potential?

Do you get my point?
