a false God is only false to a person of opposing beliefs ...
no one is right no one is wrong ...
everyone believes their God to be true .. and it is for them
no one can say any different even if a book tells them this ... because everyone has another book saying differently

Well as no-one has ever been able to prove ANY god is real (other than by quoting some fictional work written by old men with hidden agendas) then I guess the question might be: is *ANY* god real?
I guess if the god in question wishes to punish us for such nonsense as "original sin", then he is probably far to hateful to be a real one. Ditto if he sanctions the killing of people for some "crimes" in one breath - and then says "thouh shalt not kill" in the next breath.
Religion serves to control the masses - although I am open minded about *SOME* form of supreme being / entity. I have to say the conventional "God, Adam Eve and all that tosh is really just "Santa Claus for grown-ups".
If it gives you a nice fuzzy warm feeling, you can belive in god, the easter bunny and the wisdom of modern milk cartons.

In the world of reality, whatsoever is captured by the senses, seen or unseen is real. In the world of faith, whatsoever is captured by the senses, seen or unseen is unreal and can never be held as God because the Real God can never be imagined by imagination and can never be captured by the senses. The Real God is Real; and can be realized by the creatures in faith only. After the acceptance of faith and practice of good deeds and by the answer of the prayers asked in the presence of God, God is almost realized by the heart. Once God is realized, God is realized forever and only then one can realize the reality of The Real God.
God says:
‘I and I Alone am God
and all other gods are unreal.’
We know all other gods are very much seen and can be perceived and imagined easily. Since, they are imaginable images, they can be destroyed and that is what makes them Unreal.
God Our Lord is The Only Creator of all things. Gods Might and Power of creating things is even beyond human imagination. Only God creates all eggs and all seeds and from eggs brings up all living beings and from seeds brings up all kinds of plants and no one can do such mighty works. Even if creatures make eggs and seeds they will never be able to bring living beings and plants out of them because it is not the process of growing which lets every egg and seed grow but it is the Commandment of the Lord our God (Let it BE) which makes and enables them to become living beings and plants and that is not the limit of Gods Power of Creation; but God can create things without eggs and seeds. For example God created Jesus without a human seed by commanding (Let it BE). Before Jesus Our God created Eve and Adam and all things without eggs and seeds first time and then commanded them to lay eggs and produce seeds. So today what we see is the commanding situation of Gods Creative Power.

It's pretty simple, once you know the real one. Kind of like telling the difference between my real wife and any fake wives that happen to be around.

The real God made you, loves you and keeps you. The real God doesnt need any sacrifices because He already made the supreme sacrifice for you. John 3:16. He loves just as you are; He wants you to get to know Him. Please do so. Youll find a peace that will transcend anything youll know.

Only God is alive and real. He is the only One who has made hundreds of predictions and most of them have already come true and the rest will someday. He is the only One who has performed all the great miracles and does to this day. He is the only One who speaks to His people and leads and directs them. He is the Only One.

I think as soon as something or someone gets worshiped thren it becomes a god, however there is only one true god according to the bible, The God Of Love, Truth, Wisdom... The Creator himself.

To be brutally honest?
It's impossible for our human society, a speck in the infinite cosmos, to tell who's real and who's not. That's why we have faith. Me? I think all the gods are real, they are simply different yet individual incarnations of a single entity.

With evidence, of course! In the Bible, Elijah had a competition with the prophets of Baal to see which god could set an altar on fire. Elijah's God won.
Even today, you can see evidence of God's miracles on earth. Healing is a huge one that is very evident.
