I don't see why not. Look for Alton Brown's show good eats on frying a turkey. Make sure it is completely dry before you put it in the oil.
Just rise the turkey well after brining. It will not be salty.

Your choice on the brine soak, but it's not necessary. The temp is the important thing! 350-375 F. Any lower and it will absorb a lot of oil. Make sure you use oil with a high smoking point, like canola, safflower, or peanut oil. I personally think peanut oil gives the best flavor. You can also try some flavor injections; I like cajun seasonings. And most of all, follow the safety directions! It can be very dangerous! If cooked at the proper temp, the turkey skin will have more fat and calories than a roasted bird would, but skinless portions are reasonably close in fat and calories to roasted. Enjoy!

if you soak it in brine i think it will be so salty you will not be able to eat it. just fry it and don't worry about soaking it

I think you should be able to get that done it just takes a bit of prep and patience. I had theat same question until about 5 minutes ago. The internet is an amazing tool :) both links should be helpful

Yes - just dry it thoroughly to prevent the danger of splash - I would recommend using a clean kitchen towel or two instead of paper because the paper will leave little pieces -not very tasty.

yes. let it rest out of the brine until the moisture is gone or you will have bursts in your hot oil.
