I'll try anything different but have never had the opportunity to try Chitlings & Souse, I'd probably mix it with other foods on my plate like beans or peas.

It is hard to get past the smell of the chittlings cooking, ( main issue is to be sure they are cleaned good.

Souse ( or called headcheese where we are) is a lunch meat best used in sandwiches. I like mine with mustard but many do it with mayo.

you can buy spouse in most larger store lunch meat areas.
( at least in the places I have lived)

Even walmart has chittlings in the fozen food areas ready to cook I beleive and souse in the lunch meat area.

I never noticed the smell of cooking chitlings, but that slick texture made me ill, rather like tofu does.

Don't know what it tastes like, but chitterlings smelled like burning fingernails when my next door neighboor cooked them.

If possible, cook it outside.

Depends, there are two sorts of chitterlings - hard and soft.

But both are pretty disgusting in their plain form in my opinion.

The only way I've found them edible is in Andouillette, a french sausage
