Does that make any sense?

You answered yourself in your own question.... because they took you to Sunday school. Anybody who has been to Sunday school would have to agree. I would rather have a sharp stick in my eye. jk! sort of.

Yes it makes sense.

Salvation is something each person chooses for themselves. Not every Sunday school, church & youth group understands the importance of explaining this to people. And it isn't by going to these places that we are "automatically" Christians.

Christianity is an individual decision. No one "gets in" by doing good things like going to Sunday school or having Christian parents.

When I was a kid my parents took me to church each week. However while there I didn't hear about my need for a savior. It was't until I was an adult and started studying the bible that I became a Christian. {Although I would have called myself one up until that time!}

I hope this answers your question. If you have other questions about bible study, Christianity or salvation, feel free to email me.

Yes it makes sense because we have free will. For those who are not atheists, it is the same thing Eve then Adam did. The choice may not be viewed as a wise one, but it is yours to make.

I do not agree that is is an educated decision, as I see down the list here, unless you studied all pertinent data and came to the decision that way.

Why did you make that choice? Often it is due to the hypocrisy one sees in organized religion, but we deviate into conjecture at this point, which is of no value at all.

Yes, it does make sense.
Just because your parents brought you to Sunday school every week, doesn't mean you have to be a Christian.

You are in control of your own life; you be what you want to be.

You are an atheist because you despise your parent and/or the word of God never was implanted into your life. God is showing you something by your atheist life and will bring you to him.

You get to choose what you want to believe. And you have chosen to not believe in God. So what is the answer to your own question? Why have you chosen to not believe? You and God are the only ones who know for sure.
