Is the expensive flat irons really worth it? Give me some names of the good ones! Also, If you use a flat iron, what do you put on your hair that makes it shiny and smooth? Does it damage your hair if you use it everyday?.......Thanks for any answers!

Oh my god the expensive ones are so worth it...I suggest a Chi, about 120$. It straightens in a second, and takes literally only 4 seconds to heat up. It's amazing. Ummm. a good shine product is John Freida's SHine Shock. Yes, your hair could get damaged if you use it every day, but ceramic striaghteners don't do half the dmage of metal ones. Your tips could get whitish and could get very dry but putting the Shine Shock on the tips will help.

yes, because the flat irons just "smash your hair straight . I'd go for the one that has many little grooves to seperate hair strands and go for the one made by clay cause that for some reason helps protect hair from burning, frying and creating split ends. your talking about hair right? thats why I'm here. A good product before straightening is vo5 hair conditioning or hair dressing-- use only a little bit at first to see how much it takes for your hair.

I like the Remington Wet 2 Straight and it is only $25. It has the ceramic plates which are better for your hair. As long as you condition your hair and don't use the maximum setting it should be fine, mine is. Also, the Remington has many different settings which will allow you to find the one that is right for you...not to hot or to cold.

I use sunsilk 24/7 cream and it works great. As for a flat iorn you want to make sure you get one with different settings. You dont want to use the very high heat it will damage your hair.
