There is NO way to make them fresh again. The oils in the chocolate have already undergone chemical change making them rancid. Melting and repouring will not make them fresh again. Please throw them away and buy new ones.

Melt them (microwave is easiest, while a double boiler is best) and reform them into something else..
Usually when chocolate "goes stale", it is because of the cocoa separating at the surface. It looks stale or sometimes "moldy", but it's just old. Re-melting mixes everything up again, making good chocolate again!

If by stale you mean they have a bloom on them then no, they're basically useless.
They won't hurt you if you eat them, the bloom is just milk solids coming to the surface, but will taste a git gritty.
About the only use would be melted down in cooking

LoL regretfully no, once something is stale it stays that way. Breaking it up or trying to use it with other foods will only contaminate and make you sick!

No... you could try freezing them and then eating them frozen though they might appear to be less stale when you eat them. But I wouldn't suggest eating them in the first place.

Not that I know of. A way to use them up, depending on type... if they are just plain chocolate no fillings etc, you can break them up and use the pieces in choc chip cookies!!
