Ive gotten my boyfriends parents gift certificates to restaurants so they can have a date night...they really like that. Also, I bake them cookies or make a dessert for thier christmas dinner every year.

I like the baking idea above...but give it to them on a keepsake nice cookie plate or cake dish. Fruit baskets are also nice. I like Harry and David gift baskets and towers too.

Get them something for the house like a picture frame or figurine that they would like. Thats what I give my mother in law every year and she loves them.

depends on how long you have been dating.
first year i always give them a christmas ornament, something small but nice that they can keep for years to come.
after that i start getting them gc's for dinners out.

I would suggest 1 nice gift they both can enjoy such as something edible or a blanket, etc.
