With all the hard choices in life, why is so difficult to judge a simple bodily function? I'd simply just wear Black boxers - easy, but I like to keep my GF happy with what she likes - me in White Boxers!

why does the human mind/body find it difficult to distinguish 2 bodily functions? especially in arkward situations?
or when you least expect it?
and how when people matter all logic is thrown out of the window?

LOL...you should be able to tell..if it feels like something is going to come out, try and hold it in. Usually when you're about to just fart, you can tell a solid won't be coming out.

Someone once explained this to me. I can't remember the details, but basically it goes something like this:
The human rectum is in fact an incredibly complex organ. The ability to tell the difference between a volume of gas and a solid lump of digestive by-product is truly amazing, given the apparent lack of any sensual mechanism. No, really, as you read this, try to feel what is happening down there - no feedback at all, right? Unless you are on the verge of something, but normally you can't feel a thing. The only sensation you ever get from there is pressure - so how does it know the difference between pressure from gas and pressure from a solid?
But every so often there are those borderline moments where even a wonderful organ such as this can get it wrong. When it is a question of telling the difference between a body of gas and a quantity of liquid, the distinction is naturally more difficult to make. This is when you feel, "OK, it's safe to let that one through.... oh, no it wasn't!"
None of which detracts from the miraculous fact that your anus is remarkably efficient most of the time, and therefore worthy of admiration and praise.
