Mathew 5:27-28 "You have heard it said that you shall not commit adultery BUT I say to you that everyone who looks on a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart". So much for pornography.
Sex for pleasure (outside marriage) I Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Do NOT be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, ..... will inherit the kingdom of God". So much for fun sex.

Jesus said that lusting in your heart is the sin--that is the nature and design of pornography. Pornography tends to slowly and progressively trap its users. Most usually start off thinking they are in control and view porn in "moderate" doses. Too often they find out somewhere down the road that porn has taken over their lives. Some men find that they can't have sex at all without porn there to "help" them.
Sex for pleasure is not wrong if it is within the boundaries of a marriage between a husband and a wife. All sex outside of the boundaries of husband and wife are presented as perversions in Scripture.
Please don't identify yourself as a "Christian" if you are not reading the Bible and seeking to follow after Jesus Christ. "Christian" means "little Christ."

Obviously the Bible doesn't address the issue of looking at porn directly, but it often addresses avoiding things that draw you into sin. It's not sinful to have sex for pleasure within a marital relationship.

James wrote in his short Epistles, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their afflictions and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27
Looking at porn, enticing yourself with such things can be a dangerous thing. However, it is still better than buying the services of a prostitute and committing the sexual act of fornication, which is condemned in the Bible for sure. What you do in the privacy of your own home/room is between you and your God. If it is troubling to you, don't do it. It becomes sinful when others are aware of your transgressions and you do not hold the laws of God in respect.

Inside you already know the answer. At heaven's gate you will not carry a dvd of porn or bring memories of sex for pleasure. The garbage can is earth, so you must part with that stuff here and now.

I am a christian as well, but unfortunately I don't read the bible as much as I probably should, so my answer might not be as credible as someone who does.
I went to a pentacostal church for about 11 years so I learned many things, and although I can't recall the direct scriptures, it is taught that it is wrong to give in to worldly pleasures. Take pre-marital sex for instance; most religeous people know that it is a sin, but what some people don't understand is that even if you desire such a thing in your heart, then in your heart, you have sinned.
Or let's say that a married man says he has never cheated on his wife, and although in the flesh that might be true, but if in his "heart" he lusted after another woman, then in his heart he has committed adultry.
The reason I believe this is true is because if we are created by God, then we are merely spiritual souls clothed in our human bodies here on earth. Because of that, it is who we are INSIDE that defines our true selves. Therefore, although our bodies might not sin, if our spirit within the body does, it is the same.
In order to be a stronger christian, one must aspire to think as Christ. If one is to be pure in body, they must first be pure in mind. Life is not about material things, or what we can hear, see, taste or touch.....it is about how we allow our hearts to respond to these things , and how we can take these earthly things to help us grow and mature inside.
It is easy to sin, and sometimes it might be hard to understand what is right and wrong. I too, like most people, fight such addicting urges such as sex, or pornography among many many other things out there. But those things are here for a reason. Life is about growing towards christ inside, thus in order to grow, we must face and overcome these desires, urges, and temptations. If there were no bad things in life, how could we learn right from wrong?
Also, being a christian does not suddenly make you holy or better then any other person in this world. To be a christian means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who died for us, and to truly have a relationship with him will take time and effort not only in your actions, but even more-so in your heart. It is in our heart where we will grow.
But anyways, the best thing you can do about your question is to pray about it and ask God to help you understand what you should do. I know everybody has a different outlook on life, but I hope mine was any help to you.

The Bible says a lot of things that don't really fit into today's society, realistically.
The thing is . . . it's up to you. If you decide that The Bible is out of touch with your world, but you still believe, than I don't see a problem with it.
A lot of Christians will tell me I'm wrong, and that's their deal, and that's fine. But I can't imagine why God would waste his/her/its time paying attention to every single little thing you do. When there are people dying for horrible crimes, why would God do that?

ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE EVERYTHING IS A SIN...therefore it is hypocritical piece of fluff you should not take to seriously..i mean think of it this way, you ever play telephone? that game where your in a group and you whisper a sentence to somone and they whisper it to somone else and so on until the last person states it aloud? IT'S ALWAYS A DIFFERENT SENTENCE THAN THE ONE YOU BEGAN WITH! like the bible, it has been written and re-written so many times that it probably is nothing like it was originally. think about it..somone who looks at porn or screws before marrige..is as bad as ooo charles manson ? just belive in whatever you want, be a good person and you got it made!

Porn usually is produced in a way to degrade women and such is always wrong as is other porn for self-gratification. If you seek it or think on it, then it is wrong; of course Satan can bring evil thoughts into one's mind. Reject them and reject him!
The main purpose of "sex" is to procreate. Probably it is also a pleasurable way of being husband and wife.
As far as I know, the Bible does not say anything is wrong with "sex" as long as it is within a husband-wife marriage and is mutually agreeable.

Thou shalt not commit adultry nor any like thing
Thou shalt not commit fornication nor any like thing.
Looking at pornography and having sex before marriage is a sin and an abomination before God. We were given these sexual urges to share with one other person in the sacred bonds of marriage. I suggest you do some praying and read some scriptures and re exam performing these abominations.
