The family including his cousins have just been pissed at me because my husband has a life he works goes to college and is a great father to our beautiful twin girls.. his familys so messed up that last night i thought it would be nice to go out with a couple of family memebers.. how wrong that was! our DD was a aunt of my husbands who has recently spent time in the local BSU and was ripping bowls that night get this "ON HEAVY MEDS>> what a bunch of wierd o's-- I wanted to go I wanted my husband to feel that it wasn't a good situation especially having the girls on my mind ..what made it worse is he blew me off the hole night i asked him to get a cab he made excusses about leaving his cousins and them being mad at him.. I just don't think I'm a big priority we've been together for 3 years married one and I haven't had nearly any good experiences with his family.. the sad part though is I've tryed. especially keeping an open mind on their views in life.

i definitely wouldn't want my children around drug heads.

the fact that your husband condones their behavior and treats you like "the little wife" is very disturbing. from the sound of it, you are just now starting to see your husband for who he really is. i'm sure he has much more in common with those trashy relatives of his than you care to think, but you know what? if there was ever a time to step back and take a critical look at a relationship, this would be the time and the place.
if i were you, i'd get out while the getting was good, divorce him, and move across the country with the children. the farther away , the better.
but that's just me.

why would you leave your husband because of his family? Did you not know his family was messed up before you married him? I think you should just relax and be thankful that they all don't live with you! If you are willing to leave your husband, the father of your children, because he hangs out with his weirdo family members at times....then you were not ready for marriage.You should not expect him to feel the same as you do about his family, and I wish more people would work harder on staying together...marriage is not a game that you just quit.

This is hard for me to follow, but what you and your husband need to do is come up with a plan for dealing with his family. Perhaps setting up visitation times, but it needs to be something you work on together, so his family doesn't come between you. If he really says his family comes first, then it's time to leave.

tell him how you feel and that you dont like they way his family treats you he should respect you and listen to what you have to say. you should stay and try to work this out in-laws always take time to realise your there to stay
