one of the ones that is wrong? Statistically speaking, if only one can be right, what is the likelyhood that yours is correct?

They're all fear-based extortion rackets. God is imaginary.

Of course I could be wrong - I don't have any proof that I'm right.

I believe what I believe because it makes the most sense to me personally, not because anything of it is proven fact.

Sure, I have personal experiences. I have felt what I believe to be the presence of the Lord and Lady, I have found many other people who believe as I do so I know I'm not just a nut with a completely wacko idea (I mean COMPLETELY), and I have confidence that I have arrived at the conclusions and beliefs that I now hold through rational thought and logical analysis. But this doesn't make any of it true. I could be feeling some strange form of indigestion instead of the presence of a superior spirit. To be completely honest, I haven't found ANYONE with whom I agree upon EVERYTHING with, so I do have some unique ideas of my own that could still be completely wacko. I understand that what I feel is rational and logical may be entirely irrational and illogical by someone else's standards (I know I feel that way about what some others believe).

It's not about proof. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. There’s not really anything I can do about it. Since what I believe is logical and rational to me, I can't just choose to believe in something I feel is illogical and irrational just because there's a better pay off or a more severe punishment involved. It doesn't work that way.

At least I’ve got the humility to admit it.

Just for the record, though: I don't think anyone is completely right or completely wrong. Everyone has some truth, but no one has all of it.

I am a Agnostic and I don't believe any of them are correct. Just my opinion but it is based upon the assumption that mankind created all religions, and mankind not being perfect is fallible to error in judgment and ideals.
Another fact that really bothers me is that more people have died in wars defending a religion which I find repulsive and not in keeping with the 10 ten commandments the true doctrine I do believe in, which has always stated thou shall not kill. There were no addendum's to it where exceptions are made, that only happens in the bible a book put together by men, and comes in various flavors depending on your religion.

Neither can prove that now until the time we'll see whos heaven and whos in hell :P

Typical ain't it?

I don't really think it matters whos religion is right or wrong, i think it depends on the individual .if you're nice and your heart is pure ,you will go to heaven ,doesn't matter whether you're a pig. The best thing is mind your own business and correct yourself first before you correct others

Redundant question. 99% of people believe that theirs is the only one that is right. Beside, what if only one is not right? What if it is based on whether a person was true to the Golden Rule? That would open a very big door that crosses all groups including Atheists.

I'd say my particular belief on life is pretty damn close to accurate. I'm agnostic which basically means that I believe god or a god is unknowable and unprovable. And since no widely accepted proof exists yet, we're pretty close to "the truth."

However, I'm more than happy to step aside if someone proves agnostics wrong with worldwide-accepted evidence. I like to keep an open mind.

If you think your religion is wrong, you should switch to the one you think is 'right', or at least close enough. You owe it to yourself.

using statistics is not a sane way to evaluate the truth claims of any religion.

No, I do not believe any religion is right, I think they are all cults who just want your money.
