Here's the thing about weight loss. Anybody can lose weight. It's the keeping it off thing that's so hard. Why? Because that would require a lifestyle change -- specifically food and exercise. Just because someone's lost the weight doesn't mean they can then go back to eating the same old stuff and doing the same old things they were doing before. That's how they got so large in the first place -- with the exception of pregnancy...
You need to figure out how many calories you're taking in per meal/per day and counter that with exercise or activity that burns calories. Not always easily done. My wife learned that she needs to stay away from the high carbohydrate foods and stay closer to proteins. She's also learned (as is our daughter) that she is seriously addicted to sugar. Read the labels. Sugar and high fructose corn syrup are your primary enemy. The higiher they're listed on the list of ingredients, the more of it is in what you're about to eat. You might also be amazed at what all HFCS is in...
Excerise? Believe me, I know how little of it there is -- I work 10-12 hours a day, six days a week, not to include work on the farm. Put the twins in the stroller and take them for a walk (try and get in 25-30 minutes a day). Sometimes *sigh* you just have to make the time, schedule it. Make it an appointment that cannot be broken. For those of you who live in a more metropolitan type area, try signing up at the local gym or Y, use the pool. Incorporate the kids into the activities. But remember, once you've lost that weight, don't let down your defenses. It absolutely has to be a complete change of lifestyle and diet. Who knows, maybe the family will help and maybe, just maybe, they'll enjoy the new menu as well!

How to lose 10 pounds quickly
You know Christmas is around the corner. Christmas is the season of parties, celebrations, enjoyment and buying new stuff like clothes, gifts and what ever you like. Why not set a goal for yourself to lose 10 pounds in the next few days and it will help you find a better dress for you as you will feel more confident and more comfortable after losing some weight.
Christmas weight lossIt is a great feeling even after losing very small amount of weight as that motivates us to lose more weight. The very first thing you can do is that calories consumed must be less than the calories burnt. Keep the record of each and every thing what ever you eat. Check out the amount of calories in a food before ordering that. So you have to be very careful about the amount of calories you consume.
Try to cook your food by yourself and avoid deep fried food. Limit your calories intake to 1000 to 1200 per day. Remove all sugar and starch from your diet.
So here are some quick tips to lose 10 pounds quickly
* Drink lot of water
* Eat a healthy breakfast
* Do not eat any thing in between the meals
* Exercise everyday for 30 minutes at least
So go ahead with this and gives yourself a Christmas gift by losing more pounds and look sexier, healthy and more confident.

If one of your children has a game console such as Xbox or Playstation, there is a game called Yourself Fitness that is really incredible and has helped me lose weight and keep it off. You tell the game how long you want to work out, either 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes and then a virtual woman leads you through a workout. The workout changes from day to day and asks you how you are doing so that it knows whether to increase the difficulty or keep things where they are. At the end of the workout session it tells you how many calories you have burned. It's been a great resource, I have enjoyed it a lot.

Here is the easiest, quickest, and safest way we know to lose a batch of weight in a week!
Use the following recipe to make a pot of this amazing vegetable soup. Then, eat all the soup you want each day... along with the foods listed under the recipe for each of the 7 days. No other foods should be added to the plan and none should be left out.
Makes about 18 - 1 cup servings.
1 - 46 oz. can V8 juice
1 - 14.5 oz. small can of diced tomatoes
6 medium stalks of celery (approx. 1 cup)
1/2 medium cabbage, red or green (approx. 6 cups)
1 medium onion (approx. 1 cup) (Lillie prefers the sweet onions such as Vidalia)
6 medium carrots (Or pre-sliced to equal 1-1/2 cups)
2 medium green peppers (approx. 2 cups) (red and/or yellow can also be used)
All the above are required items for best results. The following items are optional, but when used, they will greatly improve the taste of your soup!
1 envelope of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix
1 - 14 oz. can Swanson's Lower Sodium Beef Broth
1 beef bouillon cube or package
1 tsp. garlic powder add black pepper to your taste
Chop and dice veggies. Add all ingredients into a large stock pot. Add water if necessary to bring liquids to almost twice the depth of the veggies in the pot. Bring to a boil, and stir as needed. Cook on low heat for about 2 hours... or until all the veggies are soft. add any other seasonings such as curry, parsley, or any other spices or herbs to suit your taste. Before you add salt... be SURE to taste it since many items already have salt!
Nutrition Facts - all values are per 1-cup serving: Calories 50, Calories from fat 2, Total Fat 0.2g, saturated fat 0g, Cholesterol 0 mg, Sodium 476 mg, Total Carbohydrate 10.4g, Dietary Fiber 2.4 g, Protein 1.5g, Weight Watcher's points 1.
You may substitute Low Sodium V8 Juice and the resulting Sodium will be 321mg instead of 476mg per serving.
You may safely keep prepared soup in your refrigerator for up to one week.
Start your diet in the morning and weigh before you eat anything. Do not weigh again until the end of the 7th day. Our weight can easily change up and down from day to day and give us a false reading on the diet's effectiveness if you weigh daily.
Following are the foods you should eat each day of the 7 days of the quick weight loss program. You MUST eat these foods along with all the soup you want.
Day 1 - All the fruits you want... any fruits except bananas - plus all the Souper Soup you want.
Day 2 - All the veggies you want, a baked potato with margarine for dinner - plus all the Souper Soup you want. No starchy vegetables (corn, peas, beans, rice) unless called for in the diet.
Day 3 - Combine day 1 and 2, but no potato - plus all the Souper Soup you want.
Day 4 - Up to six bananas, all the skim milk (fat free milk) you want - plus all the Souper Soup you want.
Day 5 - 10 to 20 ounces of beef, chicken or fish, a small can of tomatoes, - plus all the Souper Soup you want.
Day 6 - All the beef, chicken or fish and vegetables you want - plus all the Souper Soup you want.
Day 7 - Up to a cup of cooked brown rice at both lunch and dinner, up to 12 ounces of unsweetened fruit juices and all the non-starchy vegetables you want (no beans, potatoes, etc.) - plus all the Souper Soup you want.
In addition to the above, You should drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. (8 oz. per glass)
You may add vinegar, lemon, herbs, soy sauce, worcestershire, ketchup, pepper, or mustard to your foods to suit your taste.
Beef, chicken or fish should be baked or grilled... no fried foods. Consider steaming your veggies. Walmart Stores stock a line of great little electric veggie steamers in the $19.95 to $49.95 range that work great for us.
(Sorry... but no bread, alcohol, or carbonated beverages are allowed during the 7 days... not even diet soda. If you drink coffee or tea, it must be decaf and no sugar is allowed...artificial sweetener only).
Many people on this regimen report excess gas. Consider keeping a supply of "Beno," "Gasx," or other gas relief product on hand while you're on this plan. A few people report feeling light-
headed and/or weak.
You should NOT stay on this diet more than 7 days without at least a four week or more break...while eating a balanced diet.
You may, however, keep Souper Soup as PART of your lunch and/or dinner menu every day for as long as you like. A bowl before your main course is healthy and tends to keep you from overeating. One Tip readers reports, they even have a cup of Souper Soup before breakfast each day!
