It has the opposite effect. You might want to ask him if he's abusing something more serious than weed...You don't want the cops pounding down the door one day, wondering why...

Well I'm no doctor BUT I'll give it a go. Sounds like you already have a little anxiety to begin with, but function ok. Anytime you put a substance that messes with your brain into your body, you put yourself at risk. That being said...I don't think the couple times you mentioned will do any real harm. But I'd stay away from drugs all together because it doesn't seem worth it for you. Putting yourself through paranoia and hell isn't worth the high. There are plenty of other ways to have fun! Good luck!!

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!

1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.

2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.

The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.

After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net

Ohhh..and Good Luck!

It might, but c'mon, there has to be more evidence of weed use than trouble sleeping at night, too much sugar can do that, so what's really going on here?

Smoking hooch usually makes people more sleepy than not. If you think your bud is doing drugs it wouldn't be weed he is smoking to keep him awake like that, it would be speed or something like that. Maybe he just has trouble getting to sleep?

Sounds more like meth to me...but just because he can't sleep doesn't mean he does drugs.
