I think the conventional view is that people are close together and inside more often during the winter.

My theory is that the schools are back.

Anyrate, I went out to spread my germs around. What happens in Australia when it is sunny in winter?

I believe that it is becuase since it is cold outside, people tend to stay in more, allowing for easy spreading of viruses.

Personally I think it is more scientific - this may not be true but the white blood cells that help fight of infection etc in your body rely on enzymes and catalysts to function probably.

In colder temperatures they don't work as well and leave you more prone to infection and illness. This is off the top of my head, but makes sense.

because there is more cold air for us to breathe in and that chills the system leading to COLDS and in some cases the FLU
