What ever it is, do not buy it!!! Handcrafted materials are so much better when your looking at christmas gifts. Hell, it doesn't even have to be handcrafted by you. Just as long as it's handcrafted, it'll be good enough. (But it would be better if you did it).
I say that because Christmas isn't the way it used to be honey. Now it's mostly money and people like to say "It's about family" just to probably back up their own stubborn views. Today it's about money making and spending. It was better back then when it was fundamentally based on the Celebration of Jesus and having the family just get together... Gifts were, well, mostly handcrafted.
All in all, get your guy a Handcrafted gift because it's a bigger heartfelt gift. (Especially when it looks like you worked hard on it!!!)
If he doesn't like it, he's a loser...
