Almost every question on here is some kind of slam towards Christians yet I have yet to see any attacks BY Christians aganist anyone. Are your lives so empty that you've come to this or are you just angry that your life offers you nothing but hatred and emptiness while ours offers the only REAL hope?
A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument. We don't hate you.

No I do not think I am better than anyone else and I am not sad for myself or Christians due to the attacks. The reason we quote the Bible is no different than a Doctor quoting what he/she has learned in their medical books. I do not mean this question to be overly judgemental. It is just an honest question.

I see your point and as an athiest that is now born again, I have an opinion on the matter. First of all many Christians dont know how an athiest wants to be spoken to and they quote the bible and preach. The athiests and other faiths dont want that. If they want a sermon, they would go to church.
I see what you mean about the hate towards Christians though. It is sad. It is childish fingerpointing and ultimately it stems from hate, fear and resentment. I know because I used to carry it around too.
The best thing to do is continue to respect people that are not Christian, and really pity those with hate in the heart. It only hurts them. Like I say, hating someone is like burning your house down to kill a rat.
Sad too see the real hate in peoples heart when they hide behind a screen name. Dont judge or hate back, my sister, but love and pity those who dont have your sweet spirit.
Love
David

Open your eyes and ye shall see. There is more debate and craziness on both sides of this issue/belief. For people who don't believe in organized religion but do consider themselves spiritual, bible thumping, verse spouting believers, just turn them off. It's like listening to a doll when you pull the string. Because it's in the bible is not a valid argument. Shouldn't we be wondering if we are all created in God's image, why do men run all of the major religions? I don't think it's hatred towards religion, it's more disbelief that so many people believe what they do in the absence of any proof of anything. Blind Faith is as good a reason as any I suppose.

I am agnostic, but apparently you have not been on this site long enough to see Christians bashing others beliefs. Religion it self is a biased and prejudice belief. Remember it is your beliefs and the Bible that say that those who do not believe in the Bible are doomed to a fate worse than death. No matter what you believe, the facts are the facts, this type of ideology breeds bigots beliefs. If God exist, then I don't think that he would actually have a part in this, seeing as how he is the one that created diversity in beliefs and appearance.

Oh, you're relatively new here. Really look - you'll find it. The "Christians" here are certainly not without blame here. It's done by both sides pretty equally. I see a lot more Christians slamming Muslims than I do of them slamming atheists or agnostics, but they do it.

Sweetness, I've seen too many slams by so-called Christians, and although I respect their right to free speech, I do wonder about their religion. I'd much rather love my neighbor and be kind to them than constantly bible-thump. Of course you don't hate me. I don't hate you; but I wish a great many main-liners would follow Jesus rather than Paul and love their neighbor. Blessings.

What's with the blind spot regarding Christians putting up hating questions? I can't seem to stop tripping over them.
I don't hate anyone. I hate ignorance though. And I just can't seem to stop myself from pointing it out, especially when someone else is on the receiving end of some crap or other. And did you ask yourself quite how judgemental your "question" is? How come I see this so often here? And you DON'T hate?

You hit the nail right on the head. As Christians we are taught to love everyone, even if we believe the way they live their life is wrong. Those who are not Christians believe that if you say something negative about their lifestyle that means you must hate them and that is not true.

Your question smacks of arrogance and is condescending. I'm sorry that I'm not smart or enlightened enough for you.
Yes I may not be the most polite person and I've insulted Christians, but why are you (I don't mean Christians I mean the person who posed this question) think that you are better than me.

People hate us because Jesus said they would. And yes, they have no hope. So why don't you stop being so hurt by it and return the hatred for kindness. Isn't that what being a Christian is all about?
