I don't support the war.
There is not a draft, but if so and I was drafting age, I would not go.
I was drafting age during the Vietnam war, and I would not have gone then.
I would not have ran and hide in Canada.
I would have stayed here and taken the abuse for my stand.

God hates man's wars and soon they will be ended.

Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

A true Christian can neither protest nor support war. Remember Jesus said that his kingdom is "no part of this world" (John 18:36). His followers are also no part of the world. At John 15:17-19 Jesus said, “These things I command YOU, that YOU love one another.  If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU.  If YOU were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because YOU are no part of the world, but I have chosen YOU out of the world, on this account the world hates YOU."

True Christians cannot support the war- there's no love of brother/neighbor in war! All the governments of this world will soon be gone, replaced by God's Messianic Kingdom which has followers that will truly submit to Jesus' leadership. (see Daniel 2:44) This is what we pray for when we say, "Your Kingdom come...." There is only one religion that is neutral in political matters, has love that knows no bounds of nation, language, or culture and has true faith in what the Bible teaches. When are you going to study the Bible with them? :)

You can never justify the Iraqi war.

They could have actually minimised the death toll by just assasinating Saddam Hussein and carpet bombing when the invasion first began.

Robin below me: What makes you think the Iraqi people wanted Hussein removed from power? He was in fact a democratically elected leader. If you think you're not oppressed, you're very much mistaken.

With war comes death. Sad but true. However how can you say that Hussain was NOT a threat? He was knocking off people left and right, way more than the totals you give.

The least of my brethren are those in my own house. (I'm not rich!) I try to keep my family living. Those who are called to fight in Iraq, they are following their own conscience, their own choices in life, which is part of the liberty we have and are fighting to give to the people of Iraq. Our military is fighting to save the least of these my brethren, in our own country. Only God knows who the civilians are that have died in the war. I personally cannot save their lives whether I support the war or not.

The Bible says that we are to defend those who are being oppressed. And I believe that is what we as a nation are trying to do. I know that there are people who would disagree and that is fine, but, I think that we need to stand up for those who cannot defend themselves. Even if it means dying in the process.

The majority of the dead civilians are being killed by other Muslims.
