I have been really shocked by how intolerant so many christians are when responding to questions on this site. I am always so puzzled by that. How can someone with the love of Christ in thier hearts be so cruel and intolerant, Jesus did not act this way. So much pride and anger. I would like to ask people who are saved and sanctifed to pray that God would put a mirror to their face and make them see that when we are cruel we become a stumbling block to those who do not know Christ, that like it or not non-believers gauge God by our behavior. If you saw two people who had had surgery and ones surgery produced beautiful results and ones surgery left them scared and deformed which surgeon would you most likely want to visit to have your own surgery done? As representatives of Christ it is our duty to turn the other cheek, to love our enemies and to be an example of Christs love for us. How do those who are harsh justify their behavior?

The religious christians are simply human, that are frail, and make many mistakes, just like everybody else in the world.
Love and forgive yourself also. this is what the religious christians should do. As well as Love and forgive and not judge others, as well.
We are all human and make mistakes, even the christians do. That is why the saying goes around, "Christians, they are Not perfect, just forgiven !!"
Everyone in life needs to have acceptance toward others in life, if acceptance is too difficult for some, at least have a non judging tolerance for others.
And remember Matthew 6:14, 15 A persons mistakes in life and a person sins are only forgiven by God, only if they forgive other people sins and mistakes and the things others may have said or have done that have hurt them. Part of doing this, is letting go of all resentment toward others. It is also impt for always to ones best to demeonstrate a loving friendly attitude toward others, both in words and behavior. but if we fail at times, as we will as the humans we are, we should forgive ourselves and continue on.
These are my thoughts on this.

Good Question. THANK YOU.

You are so right! As a Christian I am ashamed at how some of them are talking to other people. They have missed the mark, the whole point of being a Christian and a good person is love other people as you love yourself. That means responding to people's questions on Yahoo! Answers without sarcastic and holier than thou comments as if God loves you better.

God loves those atheists and non-Christians just the same as us! We are all his children!

That is how they should be behaving yes but unfortunately alot are calling themselves christian and yet behaving in an appalling manner towards other people. Those type seriously need to take a look at their own nature and learn to be tactful and loving as they are a bad example of what they are supposed to be following.

I even have heard destructive Jews scream issues like we killed Jesus. even with the undeniable fact that it is the minority no longer maximum individuals. yet another conflict is human beings attempting to transform Jews. might desire to of the loopy evangies right here that only seem off lots of the time that pass to Israel re-evaluate their motives till now they attempt that activity there. to no longer offend yet maximum do no longer prefer to communicate A Jew. The training is plenty greater desirable than the different faith, plus your no longer gonna convert all of us. journey converts human beings. have you ever doubted something and does not have faith till you observed it? nicely that's all of us with extraordinarily much each and every thing and faith is on desirable of the checklist. Jews for Jesus get flack while they pass passing out flyers and attempting to transform human beings there. quite some flack yet you basically do no longer do this there. that's not stressful to understand. you may cry that that's a freedom and so on yet what's being executed isn't basically..

Some Christians think that they are better than others because they believe that they are closer to God. It shocks me how some so called Christians treat others too.

luckily most people do realise that there are Christians like yourself out there
just keep being you and hopefully you will be more of an example than those who " think " they are Christian
isn't there something in your religion that says ... people will see the light of Christ in you ?
i feel that is true for those who are spiritual in nature xx

I agree whole heartedly. They seem to have forgotten the love and compassion of Christ in their attempt to live Christ-like.

Blessed Be

i'm anti christian because of the people on here. it shows the level of ignorance and intolerance for people unlike them. people who dont think or act like them. (sound familiar? hitler?)

it's not their place to condemn everyone else to hell. if god wants to do that, let him/her/it/them. it's not your place as a human.
