I always get hidden valley ranch but it is time for a change...it is too thick. And whenever I go to a resaurant and order a side of ranch their dressing is so much better, it has a slight different taste than hidden valley and its not as thick. Which brand is similar to this that i can find in the grocery store (not so thick as hidden valley)?

Try making the dressing. You can get the packet of dressing in the salad dressing isle. It tastes much better and isn't as thick

Kraft is the best of all dressings. I really like their 3 Cheese Ranch, and so do my children. Out of all the different Ranch dressings they eat Kraft the best, and the fastest.

try the buttermilk recipe from hidden valley ranch that is the best dressing if made exactly to the directions it is not thick and it is what is used in most restaurants i found that out when i became manager in several different establishments...

Every resteraunt that I have been in I notice the difference too. I have checked a couple and Kraft is the brand they use. I only eat Hidden Valley because of the MSG, but that is just me. ;)

I use the Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch that you make instead of the bottled version.
