If you take a lot of aspirin it just turns to poison inside you and your liver starts frantically trying to get rid of everything before it causes damage to other organs. Unfortunately your liver takes a beating from this and might just decide that it's all too much and give up. If that happens, you will experience acute liver failure and you will very likely die if you do not immediatly receive a liver transplant.

This is caused by a chemical called acetaminophen which is found in Panadol and Aspirin.

Also, if you drink alchol or eat foods with a lot of sodium in them (Think salty, savoury foods) then you will likely experience extreme brain damage or death.

I knew somebody who took a lot of painkillers that had acetaminophen in it and she was moment away from a liver failure. She is now unable to drink alcohol for a year, if not longer.

PS I don't think you will get very sick from just 7 aspirins but you may get a bad headache and feel queasy. If you did take them, don't drink any alcohol because that will make it a lot worse and may cause damage to your body.

Well, for one, if you don't tell anyone around you, you will not get the help you need. I have been in that type of situation before only more exaggerated. Luckily I made it through, but it was not pleasant. Many over the counter drugs have severe side effects when an overdose is taken, even a small one. For instance, Tylenol (acetaminophen) can virtually shut down your liver, if too much is taken. An aspirin overdose (which is what taking 7 aspirins really is, although perhaps not sever enough to cause all of these symptoms) can cause convulsions, stomach bleeding and potential serious damage to the lining of the stomach, hallucinations, collapse, wheezing, deafness, rapid heart rate, and fever just to name some of them. One stupid move, while it may seem appropriate at the time, can change the course of your whole life. Reach out for help if you are doing this as a method of self-injury or even just testing your limits. Being about 10 years older, I unfortunately cannot remember what could have been said to me at your age to truly help. People do care. Be careful with your life and your body...unfortunately we only get one of each.

it depends what u are using it for, but it's a bad idea
my dad's used the stuff all his life and he only takes about 4 at a time and he's 50 yrs. and 275 pounds. Aspirin is a blood thinner and to take that much can be very serious, especially if your drinking or having your monthly visit. Even if you get a cut with that much aspirin in your system then you can bleed quite alot. Call your local poison control center right away, their number should be in your local phonebook or try information on your phone. They can tell you what to do. Be safe please. There''s enough unessesary deaths going on right now and we don't want any more.

Well technically that is an asprin overdose, what are the mg of the tablets that you took? You should be ok but if you start to vomit or fell like you are going to faint have someone dial 911 fast.

you should be fine. thats not alot. but please use better judgement the next time or go to a doctor so he can give you a prescription for a stronger medication. if you are having to take that many aspirins at a time you might have serious problems. and i would suggest that you go get yourself a big glass of milk to coat youre stomach. and if it was more than just plain aspirin and something like extra strength tylenol i would suggest to tell youre parents or have a good friend around to make sure you didnt overdose.

as long as you weigh more than 100lbs you won't get too sick but drink a lot of water and eat some toast you will probably get dizzy and want to throw up. Talk to your parents also.
