Not ionized. Tap, spring, and mineral are likely to be all the same. For bottled water to be called Spring, it just means that it was taken from a well that is so many feet from a surface water body. Tap is from a well or surface water body. Mineral just means it has a certain minimum of minerals. I stick with tap because if it is from a municipal supply, I know there are strict sampling requirements in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act.

What are you hoping to achieve? Purity in your water? Extra vitamins? Mineral water can be enhanced with extra minerals or nutrients. The purest form of water is distilled. It is collected from the condensation after water has been boiled and evaported. As the water evaporates, it leaves all impurieties (and minerals) behind...the collected evaporations are cooled to leave behind pure water.
As to if resrticting your water to a specific type enhances your health...that's a whole other arguement. Yet, I can't say there is anything wrong with pure, distilled water.
Finally, the type of bottle or storage container is argued to have an affect on your water as well...

definately not tap. First and foremost a drinking water should be free of bacterial microbs and viral. Look up reverse osmosis. And drinking water with certain minerals for the "taste " factors is just a bonus. I assume this is some random question off the top of your head, either that or your science teacher is quizing you. TAKE CARE = )

I'd have to say spring and mineral.
Ionized lacks minerals, and therefore absorbs them from your digestive tract when you consume it, taking away nutrients you body needs. Tap has chlorine, and fluoride, fluoride potential causing cancer if consumed long enough (many many many years, and a couple of glasses everyday, don't let this scare you from drinking it). Plus, tap water always has it's traditional flaws, such as lead, etc, etc, depending on where you live

well they say tap water has flouride in it, which is good for us...but bottled water filters that out, which isn't so good....but then again tap may contain some other not so clean things that bottled water doesnt'....lol... I saw a show on TV, talking about that bottled Vitamin Water that comes in different flavors..and the health specialist said that stuff is horrible.... otherwise I'm not sure

Tap water is almost always fine. Bottled water is a ripoff. Take a look at the price - it often costs per gallon more than gasoline.

From the big, porcelain bowl. Kidding. Actually, distilled water is the most pure. They boil it to steam, which removes 100% of impurities, and then condense it back to liquid.
