There are three hundred questions saying something like 'We must ban Christainity' or 'Islam is evil' or something like that. Why can't people learn to open and understand that what these people believe is what they believe and it's not up to them to say this crap about them.

Religion came to earth to help humanity find a peaceful life, specially with the other, not only between Christianity and Islam, but between all religions of god, I believe whoever lose tolerance has just lost the most of his religion because its all about finding peace, I am a Muslim, and I have studied some of the Christianity, I found that most of the teachings are the same, not only this, but let me tell you a part of the core of our religion, that we can not be considered Muslims, unless we believe in Jesus, and Moses and all other Prophets, Peace and Blessings Upon Them, and upon you too.

People think religion is the cause of hate and conflct ever since the beginning of mankind but it is those transgressors and oppressors who persist violence ON religion to prevent people from following the light of God. If ALL people follow what is in their book or belief, we would all find that they ALL teach peace and humanity. Neither Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, etc. don't preach evil b/c all of them were brought by God to his creatures to follow his way, his teachings, his revelations not those who follow Satan's way.

Because religion it self is an intolerant belief. If you subscribe to a religious belief you have automatically put your self into a belief that is biased. This is why all the religions don't get along. Being religious is nothing more than voluntary prejudice. If you do not believe this, then please show me your proof and refrain from thumbs down. I have not seen anything to the contrary. Show me how this is not so. Emotions like love and fear do not apply, this is an intellectual question, and emotions, like love, faith and fear do not apply in a situation like this.

Exactly. But maybe its the same reason people judge others by the colour of their skin ,the way they dress, etc. People are scared of the unknown.Anyone who thinks, acts or God help them believe in a different way have to be avoided or eliminated. Then we go on about our civilised society, when really we are quite primitive in so many ways.

The same reason why people can't be totally blind to skin color. They're afraid of anything that's different. Not to mention that everyone thinks that whatever THEY believe is right. I am a strong Christian, but I try to be as respectful to other people's religions/cultures as much as I'd want them to respect mine.

Resentments, which are all fear based. So they are afraid of something. Plus it takes a very big person to listen and a very little one to have a temper tantrum.

People are too busy pointing fingers to look at themselves for a moment. Pity them, dont fuel them.

Great Question

Ever hear the phrase, "You can dish it out, but you can't take it"? Fundamentalists have been on the attack for years now, trying to deny rights to homosexuals, trying to outlaw abortions, trying to keep women from obtaining equal rights, and trying to impose their own morals - many of them non-biblical - on the rest of society. Non-Fundamentalists are finally fighting back by speaking out against their campaigns, their media onslaughts, and their mistaken notions of truth, and the Fundamentalists don't like it very much. They can dish it out, but they can't take it. So when people of good conscience stand up for their rights, Fundamentalists cry foul - they claim they are being persecuted.

I really like your question, but if everyone got along with each other, then I wouldn't have a website to go to where I could offend people of all religions and creeds.

There are ways to influence people without constantly badgering them. Those who impose their beliefs on others should realize that.

Why can't people be tolerant? My guess is that's how they were brought up.
