hi im Tamika im 14 years old i am 5' 9''and i want to loose at least 20 pounds and i weigh about 167 and i have big theighs and i hate my stomach and everybody says that im average but thats not what i think and i dont want to grow up to be fat! so i am asking if you would help me buy giving me advice and answers well im going to high school and i would like to be able to fit into smaller clothes and all that good stuff but my clothes size is in shorts they is a size 9-11 and and in shirts i end up wearing a medium/large and i would really appreciate if you will help me and i i dont eat alot and i excersise in practice everyday for about 2 hours and i dont no what im doing wrong. so if you have answers to my question please please please comment i need support and help and if your the lunnetic who keeps comming around and insulting everyone then you need to back off people are already down by their weight and dont need you to rain on their parade haha.

The only way you can loose fat in those areas in through aerobic exercise 5 days a week, 20-30 mins each day, eat healthy.

The only way to target these ares for slimming is through surgery (lipo). Fat goes on in a pattern particular to each individual and comes off in reverse order (you'll start to lose it in the place you last put it on). Trying to target these areas through exercise will only increase the muscle mass in these areas. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you ingest. Watch WHAT you are eating (a small handful of high calorie chips will have more calories than an entire apple).

BTW - at 5'9" and 167, you don't need to lose 20 pounds, maybe only 5-10.

There is this program out there called Shapeworks, and it deals with the areas that you are concerned about, but since you are under 18 yrs old you would need to ask your parents if you can do the program. They have shakes that you can put fruit, ice, yogurt, etc... in so it will come out like a smoothie, they are very tasty, My husband and I are doing the programs, and so far in one month I have lost 15 pds, and 26 inches of body fat. Try the Fat Flush Plan, which targets those areas...you buy the book online or at larger book stores. Also weight training (lifting weights) and crunches will help. Good luck to you!!!
