I want my dad & brother to have a Thanksgiving meal, too. They are elderly and we all live out of state. I want to order a meal from the local store/deli and have it prepared for them. I can't find anyone to pick it up & deliver it.

I'm sure they will, remember, money talks. Here in L.A. they have services that do that, Meals-on-Wheels, good luck

Anyone will do anything for a price. You might could get a florist to do it but what about contacting the store manager and seeing if an employee will deliver it for you for a nice tip? But on Thanksgiving Day itself you might have problems.

You'll just have to nose around if you don't come up with anything.

No. When a florist is delivering an order from out of state, they aren't actually bringing the flowers from your state, they are creating the boquet there. You would do better to order from a company that does this regularly.

Just a few I found in a quick search are:

Sounds like you need a courier service. The only problem is they are probably closed on Thanksgiving. But, then , so are florists, so if you want it delivered the day before, contact a local courier service.

The one I use for my business charges $20 at the MOST.

Or maybe a neighbor? church? senior services group?

I'm pretty sure that most supermarkets have premade dinners. Some of them, at least in Kroger, will deliver for a price. Call one of them and see if they help you out. Good Luck.

a local taxi service wont do it?
Call the Senior Center in your dads town and ask if there might be a volunteer, or someone you could pay that they trust. Every town has a ElderCare center.
No, the florist wont do it

ask the deli if they'd do that for extra cash?

is there a freind of theirs nearby who can help?
