picky maybe? i don't know. hahah. and as far as me being attractive, i have my share of boys and i don't think i'm awfully hideous, hahah.
well either way, not only do my looks set me apart but i sing and play guitar and you know, i still can't get a guy.
so what's up with that?

Not all non-Asian guys like Asian girls (though I do). Really, your Asian-ness should not matter much as far as dating goes, but you can definately use it to your advantage in attracting guys that are attracted to Asians. Some guys like blondes, some guys like brunettes, some guys like Asians. Since you like singing and playing the guitar, maybe you should look for guys that are into those things too. Try picking up a guy in a music shop or at cafe with live music. Trust me, if a guy is even half way into you, he'll be completely flattered by you trying to get his number. It really turns the tables, and he won't have to worry about whether or not you think he is cute.

Asian women have been an exotic fantasy for men forever. I married one. I have had relationships and encounters with many.
Your problem may have nothing to do with being Asian. It may just be as is for many women of just not being approachable.
You may be too young to know the actress Jean Harlow. She was a sex Goddess, but men never asked her out. Mostly out of fear of being shot down. It is recorded that she used to hire male prostitutes.
Many truly beautiful women have this problem.
The fact that you sing and play the guitar has no relevance to men on the make or looking for a relationship.
You think like a woman. Learn to think like a man and you've got it licked.

You sound really hung up on appearance/ethnicities. It may put out a bad vibe to those around you. Why not concentrate on your positive attributes and look for people with whom you share interests. AND, gee, I guess I hadn't heard that "Everyone like Asian chicks so much".
