No. The outside of the turkey would start to cook long before the inside ever got defrosted. The whole thing will come out yellow and gross. The best thing to do is brine your turkey. Alton Brown, who has a Food TV show called "Good Eats," explained the process and the science of how to do this in a safe, healthful way on his Thanksgiving special a few years ago. It works great! You need a bucket, some salt, and some spices. Check out Food TV's website for info. But don't microwave it - you'll ruin it.

It depends on the size but defrost slowly in the refrigerator, usually 2-3 days for 12-20 lb bird.

Take it out now and put in the refrig. On Tuesday, take it out of the refrigerator and let it completely thaw out. As long as it's cool/cold wherever you're at. You'll be ready to cook it Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
