It depends. Observe their relationship. Does he seem happy and does it seem he'll stay with her, or does it seem like he just felt bad for her so he said yes. It's even worse when the guy you like is with your friend...

find a guy who isnt already dating someone, there are plenty of them out there for you to choose from instead of wanting this guy who has a girlfriend whether you think she is ugly to you or not...

Leave him alone. If he has someone then you need to find someone else unless he breaks up with her. But do NOT try to get him to break up with her or her with him. It isn't your place. I know it can be hard but you need to find someone single.
