So like, my bf gave me a promise ring about a week ago, but the day before that I logged on to his Myspace and found this message from this chick and in the message they were talking then he asked her out and she said yes and he was I love you babe, and while I was reading this I was on the phone with him and I got really quiet and he knew something was wrong, and I told him, read him the message, and was like wtf greg!! well he was all baby believe me i have been grounded from the internet you know that, you can evem ask my friend kenny that someone has been getting on my Myspace...and I am all uhhuh, he got really quiet his whole tone changed, i got off the phone with him and then he called a little later and was he was all i got you a surprise and he wouldnt tell me and the next day he gave me the ring said i was his everything that without me he was nothing and that he promises we will always be together for forever but a part of me doesnt trust him, but i love him so..yeah

I know that seems very incriminating, and it could be. But if his friend can get into his account, he could very well be using it. Try to see the best in your boyfriend. Don't judge him too quickly. If something else suspicious turns up then I would have a hard time trusting him. But if this is the first thing don't worry about it. Try to keep your trust in him unless you have absolute proof that he's doing something wrong.

well im 17/m and somethin like this happened with me.. He gave you the ring trying to apologize for what happened between you and him...sorry to say but he still probally is messin w/ the other girl.. Giving you the ring would make you think he loves you and only you but he doesnt just like you..

Dump him! It would be a different story if he had given you the promise ring during a happier time. He doesn't seem trustworthy if your gut is telling you that he can't be trusted. Listen to your intuition.

i think he is lying... most of the time people dont buy you a present so suddenly like that unless there is guilt there... and to keep u from suspecting anything... id look into it way more if i was you

he might just be playing you. i wouldnt trust him but dont let him know that. just dont get hurt too bad. if it happens again i would definitely drop him as fast as possible.
