Jesus is your personal Savior and King but there is more to that. Remember, "broad and spacious is the road that leads to destruction and narrow and cramp the road to salvation". It is so easy to just accept Jesus as your Savior and King (many just say it but they don't really mean it) but what did Jesus and his disciples do? They told others about the kingdom hope and they inturn where to teach others about it. The kingdom that Jesus was speaking about was an earthly kingdom governed by him and a few anointed ones from heaven Rev 5:10. Matt 5:5 speaks of the mild tempered ones inheriting his kingdom on earth, Psalms 37:10, 11, Isaiah 45:18... and I can go on and on. God created man to be on earth, he created angels to be in heaven. Problem is along the way, twisted teachings entered into the congregation after the last apostles died and now there is utter confusion. Contact Jehovah's Witnesses in your local area. They will show you from your own copy of the bible what is what.

It's normal to have doubts and feel discouraged. Joy and happiness are not exactly the same thing. You can have the underlying knowledge that one day all the suffering will end and a peace because of that and still be having a hard time in life. You can be broken and still have Joy in the Lord in other words. If you are not doing well in church, look for another one that will suit you better. You need to share with your brothers and sisters in Christ your doubts, they can pray for you and help you through the harder times.

Yeah, keep praying, studying the Bible, going to church, and try talking to a pastor your concerns. Also, you don't need to doubt your salvation EVER if you've accepted Jesus.
Read John 3:16 and hold on to that.

Have you repented? Have you done a complete 180 from the person you were before? It's not unusual to get discouraged and have doubts. But if you've repented of your sins and put your trust in Christ, your fruits will remind you that you are saved. Keep reading your bible and seek God in all you do.

Your accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior simply permits you to follow the various steps laid down by Him. It does not assure you a ticket into the kingdom of GOD. I assume you have given your life to Jesus several times. It is unfortunate that this achieves nothing. It is not the teaching of Jesus Christ. It is not in the Bible. It is not clear how it originated.
Jesus Christ says: "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of GOD unless he is born of water and the Spirit." John 3:5. That is the explanation of Jesus Christ on how to be born again. Also He says: "For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say." John 12:49&50. In that case, there is no variation or alternative to being born of water and the Spirit. 'Give your life to Christ' is meaningless.
The problem started with the banishment of Adam from the Garden of Eden. This garden was in Paradise, in the spiritual. Revelation 2:7. Adam was banished into a life of flesh and blood in the domain of Satan. The banishment is irreversible. Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died and resurrected in the spiritual. Baptism unites you with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. Romans 6:3-10; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12. If you had activated the promise of GOD contained in the New Covenant, Matthew 26:26-29, your sins would have been forgiven. You would be back to life in the spiritual, reconciled with the Father. You have been born of water. Your spirit can now be led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD. You have been born of Spirit. According to Jesus Christ, "Spirit gives birth to spirit." You are a son of GOD. Romans 8:14. No matter what you do in the flesh, it contributes nothing to your gaining eternal life. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD. 1 Corinthians 15:50. Also it plays no part whatsoever in the process.

It is normal.
Listen to the sermons at the site I give below.
Keep praying. Sin less. Sing unto the Lord a new song or maybe even an old hymn.

Religion is the ultimate con, it is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. No wonder so many people jump on this manured money wagon. You have every reason to doubt, it is all a lie.

this actual undertaking is particularly in intensity...yet i could reccomend examining "The commencing place of devil" with the help of Elaine Pagels. and don't enable the call fool you...this is not in regards to the guy introduction of Lucifer...yet particularly how "The devil" or adversary turn right into a fashion for historic jews to demonize different cultures or people they did no longer get alongside with. so they wrote in a symbolic way. Infact in accordance to the old testomony devil worked for God. Ex. activity.
