know what your saying is a girl hot? does this include cheerleaders,m who know, but i did in high school make the mistake of thinking they were hot and married one and later found that she was just highly competitive and not really in to guys at all. she just had smarts and was an aquairain and a giver to other people but soon discovered her dead battery was her own choosing but could not handle a relationship she could be nice to allot of people but not a hot person at all and guys don't know what to do when the girl find out She really doesn't now what shes doing

It's more the machismo and reputations for the "I nailed a cheerleader" badge of honour. It's a myth thats built on tradition and enformced by movies. the reverse of this is the girls who want to be seen on the arm of the jocks.

It is not just in the movies.... Couple of reasons... They are popular and have many eyes on them.... Secondly those little outfits are great.... ;-)...... If considering being a cheerleader go for it....

I like a normal female who does not need to call attention to herself to build up her self esteem.....
