k, i love poutine and wanna make it myself. i hear that deep fryers make ur house stink. any solutions besides garage or outside?

Just cook the fries in the oven and about 5 minutes before they are done cooking add the cheese( lots of kind are great) so it melts abotu then smother the hell outta it with gravy

There are newer models of deep fryers that have filters but the filters need to be changed often which many people don't do. Check the stats on the deep fryers when comparing them before buying. Some models even have a 2-step filtering system.

you can make poutine by cooking the fries the normal way, in the oven. i do it all the time and it is still yummy!!!
