I met this really nice guy this summer at my part-time job. we got on really well and we started seeing each other out of work as well. Someone then told him i liked him and he said he liked me too. BUT he has said he was really depressed after his ex split with him in december last year and he wasnt ready for another girlfriend but was still really into me. Since we have been to partys and stuff together, and have ended up sleeping with each other. he still says he isnt over his ex and says he doesnt do anything with anyone else, but i dont see him all the time anymore seeing as we no longer work together. Does he really like me and should i carry on waiting for him? he has made me promise that if i find anyone else i should go for them but no one else is interested so i havent. What do i do?

You really don't want a relationship with someone who is not over their x, that wouldn't be fair to you.
I think you should move on anyway. If this guy likes you, he'll come around....sounds like he has some old feelings to sort out.
In the mean time go and enjoy life.....be with other people, don't sit around waiting for someone to get over their old girlfriend.
You deserve better!!!

Good Luck to you......

no offense but if he told you to go ahead if you found someone else then he is not very interested. if he really was, he would have forgotten about the girlfriend.
