That would look so pretty!! I have natural dark brown too! All natural dark browns look pretty with red hair. Get Burgundy, it is just the right color, not too bright, not too dark, I had my mom to my hair with Loreal Paris when I dyed my hair red about over a year ago. I love red hair =)

If you have short hair, I would suggest getting one box, if you have long hair I would suggest getting two. I had to get two boxes because at the time I had really long hair and I also have really thick hair. Just in case you plan on getting it done professionally, I wouldn't really suggest that cause it will cost you like $60 when you can save that money and get it done the same way. The only reason I get my hair done professionally is because I get 3 colors in my hair.

Good Luck and God Bless

Are you going to have you hair colored by a professional or are you going to do it at home on your own? If by a professional they should have hair color strands for you to choose from so you can hold it up next to your skin and see how it would look.

I have light skin, hazel eyes and my normal hair color is dark brown (it's so dark that when a picture is taken of me the hair color looks almost black). I've been color my hair for years at home. I use to swear by Miss Clairol until they started adding in their own highlights into the mix so my reddish brown hair started having blonde streaks and it wasn't natural look. In fact it started looking hidious! I've sense switch to Garnier Nutrisse and if memory serves me correctly the color I use is a light auburn which looks really nice and goes great with my skin color. They have a new color, pomegranite, that I was thinking about trying but I think I'll stick to what looks best on me.

Hope this helps!

Maybe go into the change gradually - stay mostly brown with reddish highlights to see how you like it. If you do, move over to mostly red w/ brownish highlights, then over to a more red color. That way, you'll get to try out your color before making what may be a really big change, and also try out a couple of different shades to see which red you'd like. Have fun with it!
