The other day he noticed a small scratch- only about an inch long- around the top of my sternum...and he asked me where it came from and I told him I didn't know...which I don't, you know, it could have been anything. And he got upset and suspicious and hinted around an accusation that it was from another guy...is this stupid??

He is just paranoid. Tell him the truth and if he doesn't let it go, warn him that it upsets you and you haven't given him a reason to doubt you.

That depends on whether he is right not to trust you. You never said if you had been with someone else. If the two of you are young it is all part of being young and foolish. If you two are a little more mature, grow up!! If you are cheating, stop. If you are not and he does not get over it, you are wasting your time with him.

No. I understand completely that you don't know where it came from. If he is acting this way, it is clear he is insecure about your relationship. Give it time, and love, and he will either get over it, or he will dump you.
I know this isn't the best advice, but in this situation, theres not alot you can do.

I've been through worse. Guys who get jealous easily are not good news. If he jumps at ever minor thing, accusing it to be a sign of infidelity, he can be either really insecure or is being unfaithful himself.

not stupoid girls do this all the time they get suspicious i have been with my fiance for 6 years he works long hours in the water always has scratches but i know there because of the poles but still through my mind i think hmmm could they be but i know there not be in his shoes its ok dont be mad with him he just lkoves you

Has you bf ever been cheated on? It seems like he doesnt trust you. =/. I think its stupid, because if you tell him the truth and he doesnt believe it...then how are you two ever going to work out major problems between you two? I believe that relationships should be based on trust. Youve done nothing wrong, its not your fault.

He should take you at your word. Unless he is making a big deal to cover for something he has done. Trust is the cornerstone of any good relationship!

i think that its ridiculous, but he might have some insecurities that you dont know about. dont fight him on this or argue. simply tell him the truth and let it go. if he cant trust enough to believe you, then maybe he has a lot to work out before you let the relationship move forward.
