Some guys get married and divorced 4 and 5 times having children with each wife. Isn’t this rather like serial polygamy when he is supporting all these wives and children?

I am in a polygamous relationship. I share my lover (a man) with another woman. I am free to have other men as well. It's not all bad, you know. You just have to know what to expect. If you expect all of your lover's attention and love to be focused on only you, then you need to get out of your situation. You need to have a lot of emotional strength to be in a successful polygamous relationship.
If you want some websites about polygamy, go to Yahoo groups and type in polygamy. You can also simply Google polygamy to get some websites. Most of those websites will probably bash the hell out of polygamy, but that's only because they don't understand.
If you need someone to talk to, you can email me at bastets_kitten@yahoo.com

First of all , i think that if you are having a hard time, it means you are not convinced about it , so why do you continue in a situation like this? My ex husband wanted me to take part in a situation like this but according to my culture it is not accepted so i quit.He began living with a 17 year old girl and more girls were joining the group until they were nearly 9 , most of them were adolescents who saw him as que most incredible man ,very intelligent, rich and so on. Six of them got pregnant and had their children but then some parents demanded him and he went to jail and the girls abandoned him too.So as you can see it didn0t work. It is time for you to find a relation that makes you feel well , you are a unique person in the world who deserves the very best.

If you have ANY self-respect at all, get out of that relationship NOW! you're being used by a selfish, over-sexed guy who's using his religious/political agenda to get more sex and dominate women. There is NO justification for modern-day polygamy (it only arose due to the need for more offspring, because most infants died before age 1).
If it were the 1960's or 70's, I'd say go for it, but ONLY if your partner was willing to let YOU have more than one guy. I doubt he would.
Dump the jerk and get someone who respects you! If you want more information on this (I studied and practiced alternative lifestyles in the 1980's) or just want to talk, e-mail me! You need to be strong!

I have a problem with purely because it uses a religious smoke screen to validate the degradation of women. It may have been a legit practice in the past, but nowadays, it is being exploited for the benefit of the man.

My ancestors were involved in Polygamy. They got arrested for it. I dont polygamy is a necessarily bad thing. If you want to do it fine. If you dont then dont. Don't feel like you have to do it to please God. Do what you want

i was married to one woman for twenty years, i couldnt imagine being married to two crazy females with PMS at the same time. this would make a guy want to go out and get postal on someone, or start doing some serious drinking.
