if the recipie calls for 4 squares of bakers chocolate - what would be the equavilant measurement if im using morsals? would it be like 1 cup of chocolate morsals = 4 squares of bakers chocolate?

half cup = 4 ounces.
They can substitute only if the original recipe called for Semi-sweet, which morsels are. If the recipe calls for Unsweetened, you can use morsels,but use more of them,and cut down on the sugar in the recipe.

Since you have to melt the chocolate in either case, it's going to depend on how many ounces there are in four squares. Use the same amount of melted morsels.
Remember, though:
"Chocolate chips can be melted for recipes requiring melted chocolate, but they contain less cocoa butter than regular chocolate, so they may not produce the same results. "

They are not the same, bakers chocolate is not sweet. Try using cocoa powder and some oil. 1 tablespoon of cocoa and a teaspoon of oil for each square of chocolate.

no, it wont look like a 1 cup of chocolate morsals but you can try or try a new chocolates low or high quality...............

One square equals an ounce, so you would need four ounces of morsel's.
