pretty much all of us dates. but if u know that ur relationship will not last, why do u stay together? why do people date somebody they know they will not marry when they r of age? i think that its stupid to do that. to just be blind and stay with somebody they don't love.

I have always thought the same thing. I mean, if it's not going anywhere, what's the point? I want a relationship that has a purpose, so that's why I am going to court, which is basically just dating that ends in marriage. seems like the smartest thing to do to me!

Everyone has different reasons for being in a relationship. For your values, you cannot have a relationship with someone whom you do not love. That is fine and respectable. On the other hand, others want companionship (sexual and non sexual). Also some people feel insecure when there is not another person around.

Because people usually don't want to be alone. People a lot of times prefer to stay with someone instead of being alone.

because most people female as well as male look at relationships like a used car sale. will take what they can get until something better comes along they can afford. sad but seems to be more true by todays standards then not.

Because sometime being with someone who is not ideal and will not work out is better then being alone.

ever heard of the expression "it was fun while it lasted"? relationships must have fun in it otherwise it wouldn't be interesting.
