on Sunday morning instead of going to Church so do you think this could be one way you could empty yourself to be refilled with Christ? I mean by giving up that extra time in bed and going to Church?

Mav got up and went to church even though she really wanted to be on top of a mountain looking out over creation.
Preacher was the long winded one, and Mav has a short attention span, but she got to say goodbye to her friend that is moving.

Aren't you Christians supposed to resist temptation and all that?
Obviously you're not a very good one are you. This question is stupid. You should know the ways to be "refilled" with Christ or whatever and I don't think it involves sleeping.
Go to bed earlier and set your alarm earlier so you can still have a long lie but get up at the right time and still go to church.

Well am on that question 2.You know and i found out that if you give up going to church and don't hear the word of god .you will break the first rule of the ten commandments which is
1. I,the lord,am your god ,you should not have other god besides me. this is the first rule of the ten commandments you should not warship other thing like witchcraft of devil things . by the way i am getting sidetrack right now tell what's up. but the thing is you don't go 2 church you may grow up to b a well a jackass because you don't listing the word of god if you don't you will go 2 hell

I quit church because I can't worship with people who really don't want me to earn more money. Or take away peoples free rights to a abortion. If politics would have stayed out of the church, and the Church would have not chose the wealthy republicans. I might have stayed in. To me and my family Christians are evil wealthy people.

You know???? I dont go to the church every sundays...even, i didnt go on sundays.i went on saturdays.but..nowadays, i only go to the church when i want and i feel the necessity of it..
I dont think that for going to the church on sundays, i'll be better christian than another ones that dont go, or viceversa.
Not a church is needed to "talk" with God, and for living according as He taught to us.
Most of us go to the church, only because ..."what will say the priest...........or our neighbords???"..not because of ourselves.. So, i prefer not be hypocrite and do the things on my way..
Were the first christians less christians than us because they joined in the catacombs ???? God is not fear....so, dont be scare and talk with HIM anywhere...You'll be heard.. God is Love

i personally see no point in going to a giant building that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to build and fill to the rim with gold and stained glass in order to reach god. follow st francis of assissi and go to a wooden shack, and there you will see god.
i dont need a middle man to pray. i can talk to god myself, i dont need a priest to stand there for an hour or so and do it for me. i'm perfectly capable. the only thing church has that you dont have is the eucharist, and to some people, tht's BS anyway.

Or you could just stay home and sleep until noon, skipping breakfast AND church. That's what I do.
