I make my own using 10mls extra virgin olive oil (yes quite a few cals but at least its a healthy option cholesterol wise) and 15 mls vinegar ...to spice it up you can use any flavoured vinegar...I like white wine vinegar. Put it in a screw top jar with some pepper and a few herbs of your choice and give it a good shake. Use immediately....;

There are some good lowfat dressings out there that are olive or sesame oil-based. Newman's Own makes a really tasty balsamic vinagrette.

This one is addictive and zero calories: a sqeeze of lemon juice + a dash of Cavender's Seasoning! Wow!

low fat/no fat salad dressings aren't so bad, though. try the new spray on type to keep your serving size low, it works!

Virgin olive oil and balsalmic vinagar is what I use and it is really good for you.
