l met a guy in Sept, we speak everyday but he lives about 3 hours away, he said he has feelings for me but i live too far away, i see he quite a bit. Does he just want to have his cake and eat and shall l get out of this quick!!

3 hours is like me going to visit my girlfriend if she lived in dublin. my fiance is from south east england. i had no problem visiting her she was the same. 3 hours on the road is about 120 miles average. i see no problem. keep with it and see where it goes

Him saying you live too far away, sounds like he's not prepared to keep up a "long-distance" relationship.

Yet you say you "see him often" ...

If you're being intimate with him, and he can find the time for that, but not to spend quality time (out in public) with you, then I would suspect his motives.

I think you already know the answer deep down, that he IS having his cake and eating it - because you're letting him.

Six words come to mind " your foot ... his bum ... the kerb ".

I think he might just be nervous. But just in case take things slow you don't want to do anything you will regret do you. Sorry I could not be more help than that. I hope every thing works out all right with you and him.
