I have become upset at the fact that the family I have does not feel like a family and I try my best to do things to make it feel like a real united and loving family but I have yet to see full success. So if you are the one to give me your best answer about what a family truly is then you will be rewarded. It may seem easy to give me the meaning of family if you get it from the dictionary but this answer has to come from you. remember its not a definition its what comes from within you. once i decide what the best answer is I will say what the meaning of family is and compare the other answers.

p.s the reward is best answer.

All families are different. You can't define the true meaning of family. A family is defined by the way yours is.

Dear Mary:

I think the family is an important issue, because is the environment where grow up the children. None other environment can provide the love care and security needed for them from birth to twelve years old at least.

No other environment can provide the sense of respect needed for functioning properly into a society. Family is the unique source of citizens for a healthy society as well.

The value learning's acquired in family, among others, are:

The sense of pertainess, the will to partake in team working, the respect for the rights of the others, become jointly liable; all of these valuable features of personal character are acquired into the family environment.

However, the family has troubles too, but the way one cope with these problems is a significant developer of our character.

My best regards
Joseluís

well, I certainly would like to get the reward, but nevertheless....
to me, my family comes first before anything else.
I would do anything for them.
We argue sometimes, that is natural, we laugh, we cry together.
It is caring, truly caring for each person in your family, and doing your best to help them and be there for them.
God Bless You, in trying to get the family all together. Sometimes, whatever the reason, it just does not work.
Maybe one of them, or something is making them just think about themselves...not giving knowing they have a family behind them. It's a shame. Some people in this world, do not have any family, or all the family members are deceased.
I know how lucky I am! When you have your own family ( husband, wife, kids) I know you will make one of the best parents in the world!!! You are a VIP
Happy Thanksgiving to come, or as happy as you can be.

i dont think that every family is so perfectly tight together. its a new generation for most people and things have definately changed since the past. children and teens are more voiceful about their opinions and discrepancies. adults are more prone to physical and mental abusiveness. but what makes your family a family is how each individual brings their uniqueness out and be themselves around each other. whether it may be good or bad, its them being themselves around other family members. its a give and take thing. you respect them, they respect you.you show interest, they accompany you and spend time with you. you have a open ear, they'll confide with you.

im the oldest of 7 kids. some of us are half brother or sis and some of us are step bros and sis. but we never saw each other like that. we never labled ourselves to the technicality. we were just normal brothers and sisters who always got the rough end of our parent's relationship. now that we're older we have this awesome respect for each other because we know that through the roughness, we can come out in one piece and together to help each other. we may not do it like the brady bunch because we all do it in our own way. im the strict sister who makes sure everyone is doing what they need to do (chores, homework, etc). my brother who is the middle child is the goofiest one and probably lacks responsibility and may need reminders in doing something, but he makes an effort... or somehow wants to remind everyone else to do their chores-haha.

but what makes my family a family is the way we communicate, act, and socialize around each other. like i said, whether it may be good or bad-we're always there for each other in our own little ways.

p.s.
im not doing this for reward. i take pride in being able to share what a family is.
