It seems to me that you need to take some personal accountability. That is a very selfish and lazy attitude to have and will only make you more bitter in life.
Blessed Be

Julie, First of all I see a lot of hope in you because you have realized what wrong you have done If God had made you a better person then every one in the whole wide world would want to become better. God has given us free will to choose between what is right and what is wrong. Just the fact that you want to be a better person tells me that there is a desire in you to be better than what you are now. Jesus if you accept him does not cure you if you were a prostitute. You have to seek forgiveness and strive to be a better person. I do not care how terrible person you are and why you call yourself terrible. I can be a friend and teach you how to pray so you will not feel you have not been heard write me at pahar763@yahoo.co.in if you like

Julie,
As old as I am - I can tell you have fewer demons than I do.
People will remind you:
"GOD helps those that help themselves first."
So did you help your situation? Stop all actions that you do not like; move from "bad" friends and bad influences are stopped? Return to school, to educate yourself - to get a better job/career?
The demons of society are drugs/alcohol, gambling, sex - are these influences under control?
Julie if your icon is close to your age and sex (not a cover/fake) then your young and just need time and friends/family to mentally support you as you follow your path (R&S wording for go through life)
Well, you've asked a question that many will help you with. There are many here that know quite a lot, I hope you read all their answers carefully.
I am not fond of "professionals" but there are many that provide valuable services to many in similar situation/feelings as yours. Also the churches in your city can provide valuable aide.
I felt like talking to you because NO ONE is a terrible person, as young as you are. I do not hate you. PERIOD. No matter what you've done. You want a contest of terrible things people have done, and see who would not have anything to do with you? YOU'D LOOSE! There are such real terrible people on this planet, you could not match an hour of their life with all the years of yours, I'm sorry but your just not a terrible person.
Listen to the answers here, and you'll find some good helpful ideas.
You are NOT ALONE, as you are here in R&S, at the very least.
See e-mail Marysia, she just lived thru what you are now starting.
You've done all the praying and talking to GOD, they are good answers - but now He wants actions - focus on your actions, go back to school, etc.
Don't let the demons back in your life, if you can of course.

You are limiting God to Protestantism's view of Him in our lives. As a Catholic, I do not believe that you just have to "accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior to be saved." God cannot "make" you a better person. He has given each human being free will.
Yes, doing that has certainly help many people, and they say if you love God, you won't sin. But how long does it take theory to become reality? We are all sinners. Do not think you are so terrible that God will never forgive you. God can and will forgive every sin you have commited. Jesus forgave and loved the worst of sinners such as prostitutes and tax collecters (who were despised and hated by everyone)
No one can make you believe in Jesus. No one can make you believe in God. You have to go on that journey on your own. You are a child of God. It may help if you were baptized and you recieved God's life (grace) into your soul.
Maybe you shoud check out your local Catholic Church. You may find something, as I have, in it that you never thought existed. I will be praying for you. Please don't give up on God. He loves you more than you ever will know.
Remember, this is your soul we are talking about. If you believe there is an after life, please take this seriously. It very well may determine where you spend your eternity.

Ok, the first problem is saying that you hate God. You cannot pray with a pure heart if you are hating anyone. You need to first and foremost ask for forgiveness. You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, for the only way to get to Our Father is through His Son. You need to want this. You need to accept this. I would not hate you if you told me things that you have done. I might be disappointed and shocked. I might hate WHAT you did, but not you. Jesus said to love the sinner, but hate the sin. Do you hate your sins? Ask for forgiveness of them and turn away from the sin. This is how you get a relationship with God. It is something that has to be worked on, but it will happen. It will grow. When God answers your prayer, you might not realize it at first because it's His will that is being done, not your own. He might have a different answer than the one you are expecting. Please don't give up. You can email me if you want to continue discussing this. Good luck and God Bless.

First you should understand god have brought us all in this world with full of money, wealth, intelligent and etc... it is we who take it in a wrong way. Unless you work hard enough you won;t get what you want , even by praying to god. God allways support for the right. Allways remember this..
If you remember this , you might allways think of this in each sutiation. If you think, it didn;t happen to you, it is you who would have made a mistake. Think a lot and try to avoide those mistake.
That will sure help you to come up to a good position in your life.
By hateing god, doesn;t make any good to you. Just think. work is god. Thinking is god. God is allways there with you. It is you who don;t relise it. So whenever you fails, retify your mistake, god has given a situation to make you think , what wrong you did. It is what you have to relise it. Just by praying god the whole day " God please make me to get the grade A in all my exams". Do you think, you will get grade A without studying for the exams and just praying by saying the words to god will make you pass it?
No... right? So it is a mistake you make. If you study you will make it. So learn your mistake and relise it god is with you allways. It is very very hard and tough to relise god is with you, more than just getting grade A in your exams.(from my personnal experience.)
And onemore, Love is God. So love all. If you hate it. You have no chance for god to come into your heart. Never hate anything or anybody. And everyone have problems in life. LIFE is NOT A MAGIC. You can overcome the problems. Don;t expect god alltimes. May be he wants you to try on yourself, So you could learn a lesson through it. Think like this. Then think of your problems, sure you will make it out.Try....

Julie --- I certainly like that name. I have known a number of women named Julie. Every one had some sort of extreme problem.
One Julie I was fond of was a big time closet alcoholic. A hard worker but a constant secret drinker. She had a demon of drink and a demon that isolated her from lasting relationships. Her work and her alcohol were her two best friends.
Another Julie was extreme on sex and outdid even me for lust. The men she knew were in some way her possessions. I guess you might say she had a demon for our demons.
Like the first Julie she was barred, in some strange way, from forming any lasting relationships. One guy dumped her and she broke out every window in his house. Demons look for a home also.
Another Julie was a home breaker and in this case a family breaker. She left a younger brother for an older brother; broke up a large family and caused strife over several generations.
Now none of these women named Julie were fully to blame or terrible women; such as to seek domination and to murder for gain. While they were responsible for many things they were also victims.
Now the Lord Jesus Christ came to seek and to save from bondage those of us who are lost. Pray then to the Lord Jesus Christ to be set free from these demons. I tell you it will happen if you will just believe that it is "possible" and hear what I say next.
In your last sentence you say "...not doing anylthing to help me with my demons...." Do you think any demons you have are named Julie? It is a mistake to think so or claim them as yours.
You must honestly consider -- Do you like these demons? If so they are going to stay with you. God will not act over your will. He will give you grace and mercy if you call upon Him with a true desire to be free to worship Him. That is what we were made for. Everything falls into place once you are set free to be a chld of God. His strength is made perfect in weakness. The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you now and forever.

Repentance is necessary. Humble yourself, and be sorry for your sins, then ask Jesus to come into your heart, read God's word daily and you will get to know Him better. Jesus will give you the strength you need to change your life. We would not hate you, but will forgive you, and pray for you to find your way to a better life, and be with others who belive and know the Lord. God Bless you.

while i don't know your own challenges, i know what mine were and i felt the same way. the difference is you Julie. you have made the first step.... you have admitted you're a sinner and living a life you are not proud of.... you have accepted God and Jesus, but maybe not fully. you've had the revelation - now it's up to you to make the changes needed -- God WILL give you the strength. for me, after i "woke up" it took another 3 years before the big change came. i'm still not doig as much as i should but it's not God's fault -- it's mine. but i know that, i realize that and i have committed to that realization and that i have to find another more positive outlet.
if any of this sounds vaguly familiar - feel free to email me and we can chat and "compare". Julie, it's not easy to accept God and thus change your ways.
God Bless you!!!

1) You have to be sincere when you are praying. If you're just praying and you haven't really opened yourself up, then God has nowhere to enter.
2) God gave you free will. This means the choices you make, including those about the type of person you are going to be, are yours and yours alone. He can guide you along, but He doesn't do the work for you.
